Q1. What advantages do SEEKRUN display instruments have over other similar products in the market?
Unique ID modeling design, multicolor UI (user interface), high brightness, modular design, self-developed board end connector for more convenient after-sales service and maintenance, OCA/CR glass full-fit process, super IPX7 water-proof design, AF (anti-fingerprint) function of the glass, innovative RGB illusion-color breathing lights (whose color changes with the changing cycling modes and keeps consistent with UI color in the same cycling mode, bringing very friendly interactive experience), backlight remote design for safer operations at night.
Q2. Is the screen display visible in the sun?
Practical studies find that the maximum outdoor sunlight brightness is 420cd/m2 while our display instruments adopt a customized backlight module to improve the screen brightness to the typical value of 450cd/m2. Therefore, the screen display is clear enough in the sun. As for the segment-code LCD, we apply a glass-fitted negative display screen to make the display clear enough in the sun.
Q3. How is the overall intensity of the display instrument as the screen is made of glass? Is it easy to scratch?
We use soda-lime glass with 6H hardness to ensure enough intensity of the instrument. In addition, structural designs such as 2.5D chamfer and plastic enclosure are also means to guarantee the overall intensity.
Q4. How is the display instrument sealed, with adhesives, ultrasonic welding or other means?
Mobile adhesive process is applied with PUR hot melt adhesive to seal. Ultrasonic waves may damage the liquid crystal molecules within the screen so as not to guarantee product consistency and X7 water-proof rate①.
Q5. What material is used for the display instrument shells?
The body shell is of ABS+PC or ABS materials. The bracket shell is of PA66 material to ensure bending at any angle.
Q6. Do the buttons offer both left hand and right hand operations?
According to the current industry practice, 80% button design is for left hand operation. Therefore, our design is mainly for left hand operation. Adaptive development may be conducted to meet the special demand for right hand operation.
Q7. Are there special functions such as navigation in the display instrument?
Now the display instrument is equipped with Bluetooth, which can be matched with the user’s APP to realize the navigation information function. We are planning to add a positioning chip the Bluetooth in the later development to realize the positioning function. Still deeper intelligent applications are under development now.
